Attorney Nikki A. Caplis focuses her practice on residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, probate and estate administration, business formation, zoning, licensing and permitting, as well as landlord/tenant law. Nikki has successfully represented numerous landlords in eviction matters.

Nikki graduated from University of Massachusetts Lowell and received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. She received her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. While she was a student at Suffolk University, Nikki was in the Accelerator-to-Practice Program, a comprehensive three-year course of study and practice designed to prepare graduates to join or start sustainable law practices serving individuals and families. During her final year at Suffolk, Nikki was a Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 Certified Student Practitioner in the Accelerator-to-Practice Program’s Housing Discrimination Clinic, where she represented indigent clients facing housing discrimination.

Nikki began her legal career with Eliopoulos & Eliopoulos, P.C. as a legal secretary during her final semester at UMass Lowell and throughout her time at Suffolk University Law School. Nikki is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Real Estate Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association, Northeast Association of Realtors, and Polka Dot Powerhouse. Nikki also serves as Vice President of the BNI Excel Chapter.

Nikki was raised in Burlington and now lives in Tyngsborough. Nikki volunteered for four years at her home-town library, the Burlington Public Library from 2014-2018. Since 2015, Nikki has been involved in Relay For Life of Burlington, Massachusetts, from participating and volunteering at the Relay For Life events, to assisting with fundraisers and events, and now currently as a Chairperson of the Event Leadership Committee.

Nikki also serves as an Alternate Member on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the town of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts.
